2 Years Old!!

Well, here are a bunch of pictures and videos of my 2 year old! We actually ended up having 2 parties...one on his birthday with just us and then this weekend when Jims mom and sister could be here! So that is why there are two cakes...lucky kid. I cannot believe I have a 2 year old and want to cry when I see how fast he grows and learns! Motherhood sure does make you a sentimental wuss.

He is so funny. He was so careful not to get cake all over and only used one finger very daintily until Jim shoved his whole hand into the cake.

I made the cake a couple of days before and for 2 days Sawyer would go open the fridge and stand there looking at it singing the wheels on the bus...

I would be in trouble if I didn't add-in some pictures of Wyatt.

A sit-n-spin from Jim and I

Jims work sells all sorts of fun tractors and farm equipment toys...it's a little boys heaven. We can't take him into his work because he's just out of control.

More Wyatt

We were at a friends house and I finally caught Sawyer singing on tape! He is always singing, all day, but I can never get him to do it on camera, and this cracked us up because he was playing the guitar too.

For his birthday I let him take like 3 baths...it's his favorite past-time. He's really starting to get the funniest personality. He started cheesing it for the camera.

Oh mom....Sawyer absolutely LOVES his bulldozer! He wouldn't let us put it up for the night so he ended up sleeping with it! I wish I would have taken a picture...he had that, like 5 little cars, a pillow, 4 blankets that he pulled out of the dresser and a stuffed bear...all in bed with him.
That's our two year old!

Oh Sawyer...

He loved his new tie.

I was on the computer the other day just catching up on email and such when Sawyer decides to come cuddle...not unusual, he's very cuddly...well five minutes later I hear snoring and look down to see him fast asleep. He hasn't fallen asleep on me since he was like 3 months old! I may have shed a happy tear or two...Wyatt was asleep at my feet in his swing...this is what Jim came home to. :)

Well, last night I went in to check on Sawyer to make sure he was good for the night, you know, make sure he's not suffocated under all his blankets and pillows, make sure he didn't poop...I open the door and "WHACK!" I hit him right in the head. Didn't even phase him. He had climbed out of his crib and gotten into his blanket drawer, proceded to pull out all the blankents and then lie on top of them and fall asleep. I should have taken a picture of the rest of his room...it was a disaster! We are putting him in a toddler bed for the first time tonight. Wish me luck.

This boy is ALWAYS smiling.

Just another one of Sawyers strange games.

And the reason he is no longer in a crib....?

Wyatt has started rolling over from tummy to back....I know, very exciting...I just can't get him to do it on camera. He would rather look at me.

Cute Boys

Ok...so here are the Halloween decorations that Sawyer and I made, and our jack-o-lantern. Fun, huh?

Well, Wyatt is definitely a talker...this is what he does all day...he doesn't really take naps, he sleeps all night, but just a cat nap here and there during the day. I'm ok with that, I'd rather sleep at night, there is too much to do during the day to sleep. We are just constantly amazed at this kid because Sawyer didn't really say anything or make any noise until like 5 months ago...now he runs is as much (more) than Wyatt! :)`

This is Sawyers favorite past-time...it's the greatest day ever when mommy washes the sheets. If you listen close you can hear him say "again" right after clapping! Hooray for speech therapy! It is doing wonders in such a short time!! Notice the lack of room...this is why we are moving to a bigger house in 2 and a half weeks!! Yay!!

Halloween

These are just a bunch of pictures from the pumpkin patch, our ward trunk or treat and Halloween night!

Ah Tina...my favorite sister-in-law! :)

Fishing for candy at the trunck-or-treat!

I was having a heck of a time getting Sawyer to hold still for pictures so I figured video was best. He wasn't a big fan of Halloween...I think it kind of creeped him out to see everyone dressed up, especially mommy. He got really upset trick-or-treating because he really wanted to go into other peoples houses. And he didn't really care about candy, so....next year he'll get it.

This was the highlight of his night...chasing Sheryl Hedlunds moms dog around the house! We had to take off the lion costume because the poor dog was terrified and growling.

This very rarely happens...Sawyer holding still...my little energizer bunny
