Oh Cheevers...

...how we miss you! Sawyer was SO excited to have you guys here. The past couple mornings he's been running down the stairs yelling "friends!? friends!?" And then when I explain you guys are gone he gets the saddest look on his face and mopes around the house for ten minutes saying "friends went home, bye friends, bye." Poor kid.

Who would have thought you could fit 3 kids on the wiggle car?

It's not even that warm outside right now. Well, like in the 70's, which feels cold after 100's. But man did they enjoy playing in the water.

It's really sad to me that whenever we do anything fun and I take pictures Wyatt is pretty much always inside sleeping. I laughed so hard when the 2 Cheever kids told me I should buy more bikes for them so they could have their own when they came to visit. They continued to hassle me about it till I told them they could buy the bikes and just leave them here. Love those kids!

Poor Bodey. Our boys are both obsessed with him. And neither one of them has any idea about personal space. They just get right up in there and poke and hug and tackle...

Well. Sawyer is officially in love with Thomas and anything Thomas related. I went to the store to buy him one and guess what? THEY'RE 10 DOLLARS FOR ONE DUMB LITTLE TRAIN!!! No way. So what did I do? I painted two trains we already had to look like his favorite characters. Is that really ghetto? I don't care. I'm not paying 10 dollars. He doesn't even notice. Sadly I'm sure I only have a year or two before it can't fool him and he'll want the real thing, whether it be Thomas or some other ridiculously expensive item he just HAS to have.

But for now...he's as giddy as can be about his home-made trains.

Are all boys this weird?

This is all they do all day...play with cars...more specifically the "Cars" characters. And they are ALWAYS fighting over who gets what. Already. Great.

Just attempting to get his own shirt off. There is a lovely video clip down below of him...well, I'm not sure what it is he's doing.

Yes. Wyatt has Luigi in his mouth. Unfortunately as soon as my back is turned that's where it ends up. And I can't take it away from them because then Sawyer gets really mad. SO, I'll just keep a close eye on him I guess and practice my CPR skills...

Cute, right?

But no. This is why he's laughing. He's slurping up dirty puddle water and spitting it out.

And as I mentioned. A video of strange boys.

Let's Catch Up Here.

We've had a VERY hard time adjusting back to Kansas....or just me...but the boys have been pretty grumpy since being home and Sawyer often says to me, "Car? Grandma and Grandpas house? Go!" Think he had fun?
So back in good ol' Salina, Kansas.

I don't know what it is about the lawn mower and boys. He won't leave it alone if it's out.

I tried dressing them up and taking them to the park for pictures. It was a perfect day for it. But oh wait. I have two toddlers. Do they hold still? Ever?

He was dancing. Apparently to the music in his head.

We are trying to get Sawyer potty trained, no luck so far. But he sure does like the Elmo potty video we got him. This is the first time Wyatt has ever sat and watched something for more that 1 second...it was about 5 minutes instead. Must be a good movie.

This is what happens when you let kids play in the dirt. They get dirty. And are oh so happy.

You might be thinking to yourself..."great Bekah, give your kids pop." But I can assure you, it's just water.

Sawyer cracks me up. We were at Jane and Eds for the day and Ed was watching an old black and white western when we showed up...well, Sawyer took it over. He LOVED the movie! He's really into cowboys and Indians lately. He watched almost the whole thing.

Oh. And we cut his hair while there. Below is a before picture and above is an after. Much better. Ever since Utah his curls have disappeared and have not returned. It was just looking like a floppy mullet. So, we buzzed it. His hair line is still a bit odd, but seems to be getting a little better. I'm hoping by middle school it will be normal.

Why yes. Yes I do.

It may not be the safest water slide...but they sure do love it.

The First Of Many

Seriously. I think there are at least 15 new posts I just put up. I don't keep a journal, I should, but I don't. I blog instead. Feel free to ignore them all. Here is our vacation. The boys and I went for the whole month. My sisters didn't get there till 2 weeks later. But we had SO MUCH FUN!!! Love Utah. Love the mountains. Love the outdoors. It's all we did.
This water at Bridal Veil Falls was SO COLD! I don't know how the kids stood it!

Sawyer absolutely adores my dad. He followed him everywhere. Come to think of it, he did the same to my mom too. Oh how I miss you guys already!!!!

Look. Sawyers face is identicle to the statues...

Funny thing about this photo. Wyatt wouldn't hold still so dad put him in a choke hold. Ha! I need to remember that one next time I'm taking pics.

This boy LOVES being outside.

Water games!

Cousins! Funny thing is Alta is closer in age to Sawyer than to Wyatt.

In the "daycare" they painted the kids faces. So cute! By the way. This was the best vacation ever. Not only was I up in the mountains, but they had "daycare" camps for each age group where you would just drop them off and they would take care of EVERYTHING while you went out and had fun. You just pick them up for lunch and then dinner. Wonderful. I HIGHLY recommend this place.

Jamie. My oldest sister. WAY tougher than I was. I didn't do this part of the ropes course.

Don't worry. They're just air rifles. But oh they where fun.

I think this may be one of my favorite pictures. Ever. My sister Lisa and her oh so cute baby Everett!!

Speaking of cute. Wyatt really melts me sometimes.

SISTERS!!! We didn't have nearly enough time. There never is. We all live much to far away.

LOVE Sawyers face in this pic.

There was a GIANT hill slide. Wyatt REALLY wanted to do it, but seriously if you saw this thing...I wouldn't do it. Then again I'm also a wuss.

Yes. There was also a balloon popping contest. With a whip.

Shalane you and I need to be neighbors. Seriously. I'm really depressed looking at these pictures.
