This and That

We had the Cheever kids over the other night for a little Polar Express party. Yes...that is a train they are sitting in. I had very little time and resources to work with, ok?! It was a lot of fun for them though, and they didn't seem to notice the ghettoness at all. We even served hot chocolate at the hot chocolate song...

So there is this neighborhood that really goes all out for Christmas. There are like 20 guys dressed up as Santa and you just drive your car down their street and they pass out all sorts of Christmas candy and hats and they even have this little "Santa's Hut" set up! It was so cool! So much to do in such a small town!

So we celebrated Christmas a little early last night with Jane, Ed and Tina because we're not sure if they'll be able to make it for Christmas day with all these storms we're supposed to get. So just in case we let him "open" grandpa Ed's gift...his very first bike! Mom, didn't we have the same exact one? Don't these boys already look like trouble? We are in for some interesting years...
Thanks Ed!

How is it that babies can get away with this and still look absolutely adorable? Jim tried it on me and just made me want to vomit.

That's such a cute idea to have a polar express party! And Salina sounds way more fun than Manassas, I want to come hang out with you!
Have a good Christmas Poogie, I miss you and love you!

Fun stuff you guys are doing! Ed picked a great gift for the boys. The one we had was almost like that, but instead of a step on the back, it had a wagon. I've never seen another one like it. Someone gave it to us. I'll have to find a photo of it and post it for you.
