From Freazing, too Beautiful!!

Cabin fever was starting to get to us and then the sun appeared! It was snowing one day and almost 60 the next! And as I type this, it has begun to rain...

Things to do in Cedar...

There really isn't much. We found this place called "Irontown" about 30 minutes from our house in the middle of the mountains. Really all it consisted of was this one giant kiln...Sawyer just enjoyed being outside in the snow and mud. Then we have a trail, kind of like the Provo Canyon trail and a very cool park that is as of now covered in snow, ice and mud. But, I don't think Sawyer cares to much about that. In fact, I would say he enjoys it more because of the mud involved...

And the Award for the Cutest White-Trash Baby Goes Too...

I really had my heart set on growing Sawyer's hair out...you know, like Jackson and Max, just kind of shaggy and well, perfect. But I sadly realized that my poor son wasn't blessed with beautiful hair genes and that instead was cursed with what looked to be a very bad old-man comb-over. So, I finally caved and we cut his hair. But this is Bekah and Jim here. We don't tend to stick with the norm...so, we gave him a mowhawk...just for funnsies. You should have seen moms face...priceless. Then she called us white-trash! Well, my husband IS from Kansas! :) So here we are, back in Cedar City, fitting right in with the locals.
We also had a chance to go up to Salt Lake and hang out with Brian and Colleen! Sawyer LOVES Pixel!! They're BFF's. I'm really having a hard time convincing Jim that we need a cat.

Back From the Dark Ages

What did we ever do without the internet? I can't believe how desperate I was after a week without it! For those of you who don't know what the heck is going on in the Blankinship family, here is a quick update:
We moved to Cedar City 3 weeks ago so Jim could take some classes and prepare for his GMAT. (Is that right?) We were without the internet for about 2 weeks and Sawyer was VERY sick for about a week and a half...so I have a wonderful excuse for not updating!! Oh, that and I didn't have a camera. But my wonderful husband just surprised me the other day with a new one! So now I'm sure you'll be getting TONS of pictures!
Cedar is fine...a little dull, but at least a BIT warmer then Provo. They do have an amazing playground a couple of minutes away and some really great hikes right behind our apartment, but other then that...
I miss having a house to ourselves!!
We had our first appointment the other day and got to hear the babies heartbeat, Sawyer REALLY doesn't like other people touching mommy. I forgot how exciting it is to know for sure there is something in there...
So I know there aren't many pictures for your viewing pleasures...I promise, I'll take more soon!
