Wyatt is here!!

Wyatt Anthony is here. He was born at 8.30 am, weighing in at 8lbs 5oz and is 20 inches long. As a nice surprise he already has hair! Bekah did great did not have to deal with the complications she had last time. Other than feeling sick from the pain meds she is feeling great too. Once the upset stomach is gone she will be up and walking around.

On a side note-they dont have a nursery here at the hospital. Only a NICU where healthy babies cannot go. Whats up with that? I think that decision was made by a dude in order to save costs. Very strange.

Other than that our stay here has been good so far. I decided to add just a few pictures and will add more later.




This is Wyatt's response to bath time. Other than this he is a quite baby. He just likes to be held so he can look around and observe. Poor kid has a McAnulla nose (Really Big!) Other than that we can see alot of Sawyer in him. But you guys can draw your own conclusions.

Ok. These are just some random pictures. I love it when Tina is in town because she is able to get some real pictures whereas I am taking pictures while I run after him...Plus it's a lot easier when one is taking and the other is acting like an idiot. Thanks Tina!




I know it's blurry, but this is Sawyers new favorite game. Most of the time it's just to the pillows he throws on the floor. Remember when we used to put pillows at the bottom of the stairs and jump? Thank goodness we don't have any stairs...who teaches kids these things?!

4th of July

Well, here are the two pictures I took on the fourth of July...lame, I know. Sawyer was being grouchy. We went to the Hedlunds for a BBQ and tried to go to fireworks that night but it was just too late for our grouch. There were these tiny little frogs all over the yard that Sawyer just chased everywhere trying to squash, luckily with no success. I am so glad to have family nearby, especially on holidays!! Thank you Hedlunds!
Oh, I'm pretty sure the next post everyone sees will be with baby Wyatt!! A week from Friday! (If he makes it that long)

Leah Comes to Visit!!

Leah and John stopped by on their way home from Utah for a visit! It was too short! It was funny to see them and their 3 kids crashed in our TINY living room though! :) Isn't baby Jane a cutie!?

This is Joshua, he is 3 years old...he and Sawyer weigh the same (or Sawyer is a bit heavier) and Sawyer wanted to do EVERYTHING with him.

Not a big fan of getting water in the face.

We couldn't find or hear Sawyer the other day, which is funny considering how little this house is, we always keep the bathroom door closed but I decided to check in there just in case. It was locked! I had a moment of freaking out, got it opened, and this is what we saw. This kid LOVES his baths.

Why I haven't posted...

It's SO BLOODY HOT!! I refuse to go outside. It's been 110! The humidity is awful! Shalane, you know what I mean! I suppose I could take pictures indoors, but Sawyer runs away from the camera...or towards it...Am I the only one that can't get pictures of my kid?! He's too fast!
So, we hang out inside all day...BORING!! The library and the mall are life savers. Oh. And so is Petco. :)
For those that I haven't told yet: The C-section is July 24th early in the morning! 4 more weeks! Any advise on how to deal with a toddler and a hole in my stomach and a newborn?
