I have been meaning to post this picture since the summer and just kept forgetting. I really thought that this house was painted this way for the 4th of July, because come on, who would really do this year round? But no. This is the house of a true patriot. We drove by the other day and it is still as pretty as it was in July. I can guarantee they have at least 10 guns just sitting around in there...
This is the part of our blog that we would like to label "neck-watch" in honor of all the wonderful diversity we have going on out here. There are many photo ops that I plan on taking full advantage of and sharing with you. Our neighbors have a full sized fridge just sitting on their porch and even in the dead of winter they are out there with tank tops on and drinking...whatever beverage they keep in it. Apparently something that keeps them warm. Good times.

Ah yes. Sawyer. He has become a nudist. I can't for the life of me keep his clothes on. He always ends up naked. The other day I went into his room and was so excited because he still had his clothes on and proceeded to praise him and give him a hug. As I'm hugging him I feel his bum and to my dismay...no diaper! Yes, he pulled a Zoolander and somehow managed to get his diaper off while still wearing clothes. Oh boy. At least he has stopped with the poo-painting...for now.

And last but not least:
The other day we were at Sams club and I was texting my friend. Well, this guy is walking by me and under his breath but loud enough so I would hear he says, "No texting while shopping!". And just kept walking while I laughed really hard and proceeded to text. Then he goes to Jim and tells him to make me stop texting...now, you might think "Wow Bekah. There is probably something wrong with him that makes him act that way...you should go easy on the guy, don't make fun of him!" I can absolutely gurentee you there was nothing "wrong" with this man. Just weird. And highly opposed to people texting while shopping. Come one, come all to the freak show that is Kansas.
