Hair cuts and splash parks

Well, I finally broke down and got Sawyer a haircut...I was so sad to see all his curls go!! But after someone thought he was a girl I figured to save his manhood it would be wise to get a trim. Though how ANYONE could mistake him for a girl is beyond me...there is NOTHING feminine about him. Except maybe when he wears my heals around the house. And puts my makeup on. And my jewelry....
And then seeing Sawyers nice new do, I decided to buzz Wyatt! He seems so much older after his first haircut. Both of them are much cooler now. It's really starting to heat up.
If your wondering why Sawyer is crying. He didn't want me to take a picture of him. Maybe he doesn't like the cut?

First day back at the splash park!! Love this place. And it's free. Who's going to come with after Cheevers leave!!!? You guys are just going to have to come up EVERY weekend to go. Because let's face it...what is there to do in Scott City? :)

Sawyer is a wuss. I'm just being honest. If he gets ONE little splash on his face he comes running over to me and wants to be toweled off. Wyatt on the other hand...dives right in.

Thank you Jim for my new table!!

The other day I just couldn't handle it anymore. I've been cooking dinner every night for a while now, (yes I know, amazing) and we've been having fun trying all these new recipes. But we didn't have enough room for all 4 of us at the table so we would end up feeding the boys real fast and then Jim and I would attempt to eat our dinners while the boys played. It usually ended up with a boy on each lap while they tried to throw our plates on the floor to get us to hurry up. Needless to say we could never enjoy our food. So the other day this is what Jim got me!
It has an extra leaf that comes folding out of the middle and it's almost bar heighth. AND we got it for more than half off!! Can't beat that! Thank you Thank you my wonderful husband!

And sleeping boys. This is after a long day of playing outside at the splash park...those pictures will have to be another posting.

Ha Ha! More DC!

Well, D.C. was a lot of fun. It was SO GOOD to see Shalane and Jamie!!! I didn't want to leave them so soon!! :( So here are a bunch of pictures and videos from the weekend! Shalane already put a bunch on her blog so I'll put some different ones and let Jamie put up some from her graduation!! Congrats again Jamie!!!!
First one is Wyatt and cousin Alta. Too cute!

Just want to show off the cute little teeth!

This was the end of the day and our poor babies were such troopers. Wyatt had just zonked out and nothing was phasing him. Below is when he fell asleep in the middle of eating a pretzel and loud bagpipes! He was SO tired!

I just like this picture of Dan and Wyatt...Dan looks like a crazy man and Wyatt looks terrified. Scary uncle Dan...Thanks for letting us take over your house!

Well. I'm not sure what to say about this one. You know about my "neck-watch"...but what do you call it when your in a major city where red-necks clearly don't exist? Ideas? She's clearly an angel.

Can't see the Kansas sign behind us, but we were representing. Yeah. Kansas!

This one is cool. You can't get close to the white house anymore. Understandable. You can see the fence and the line of people...that's as close as you can get. Lame. But if you look at the top right of the WH you can see some secret service...very cool. Thanks for taking the picture Dan!

The dork tour...

Shalane I'm sorry. I had to put this picture on because everytime I look I can't tell which sister it is...or if it's me. The only way to tell is the prego belly. So weird. We all look and sound EXACTLY the same. Yummy cake by the way. Anyone reading this go to my other blog and she put it on there. At feedme.blogspot.com. And if you want to contribute any recipes email me or give me your email in the comments. Shalane and I are the only ones contributing!!

My sharp looking boys....and me.

This was crazy. It was in the 90's that day and all of a sudden, a hail storm!! Alta really didn't like Daddy out there.

I love Alta. She is a doll. I wanted to just pick her up and hug her all the time, unfortunately she wasn't ready for that. But she sure did love Wyatt...until he touched her toys.

I swear, Wyatt is saying water. Listen closely. He said Alta too...not on video. My kids better than yours. :)

Thank you thank you Shalane and Jamie and Dan for such a good time!! Love you lots and can't wait till August!! And thank you to my wonderful husband...he was SUPER DAD while I was gone!!

A Day at the Spa...and Boys

So I got the royal treatment on Saturday. I went and spent a couple hours getting my hair done and then getting a water massage...which if anyone gets a chance at one, take it! They are so cool! When Jim came back with the boys we (Jane and I) were able to convince him to get a massage too. Sawyer and Wyatt were SO GOOD! They just sat there and watched. You can see the water going over Jims body and I think that must have looked neat. Thank you thank you Jane for the wonderful day!! Love you!

Sawyer sitting in the pedicure chair sniffing polish?! Oh great. Though I must say he picked out some really pretty colors. One up each nostril...maybe I should have bought them, or at least washed the boogers off...

It's always really exciting when we find a food that Sawyer not only will eat by himself...but he'll ask for more! Good thing we live in Kansas where there is corn a plenty!

Wyatts sunglasses...very stylin. I'm actually very impressed he was able to get them on. They barely fit Wyatt anymore let alone Sawyers head.

Wyatt smiling?! Amazing. By the way...this kid will be walking in the next couple weeks. You just wait and see.

You don't have to watch the whole thing...I just think it's funny. And I'm also trying to figure out what is so funny about Sawyer hitting the wall...? Strange little boys.
