Things have been very crazy the last couple months....to say the least........we are FINALLY in our new home in New Mexico!! We got here about a week ago and still don't have our stuff. Jim hasn't been able to get back to Kansas for it all due to weather and time constraints and we're all going a little crazy living out of suitcases!! We were in Utah at my parents for the last couple of months waiting to be able to move in but the family that WAS in the house just kept staying and staying and NOT paying rent! Then they left it trashed...awesome. Thank you thank you to Bill, Margret, Ken and Tina for getting it cleaned for us!!! Now for some furniture....
I miss Utah and my family, but I think once we get settled we will really like it here. The boys LOVE the house. It's got TONS of room (espeially with no furniture) to run around like mad-men....and that's what they've been doing.
I am typing this on Tinas (my sister in law) computer so no pictures again. But it looks like Jim will be leaving on tuesday so I will get my computer back and will be able to post some pics! I have A TON!!!!!!!!
Miss everyone in Kansas and Utah!!! Jana your house is looking AWESOME!!! Um. Lil.....you need to come visit...Wyatt said something about Bodey the other day and I just really miss you.
Oh. And I got a new phone (like a month ago) and still havent' swithched all the info to it....or set up the message....I suck. I'll eventually get it done.

Sawyer

Sawyer cracks me up. I love this age.
The other day we were meeting Jane for lunch in good ol Great Bend and while waiting for her to arrive this was the short conversation we had:

Me: I'm STARVING!! I can't wait to eat! I'm going to eat the biggest salad they have!
Sawyer: I'm STARVING TOO!! But I don't want a salad mommy. I want REAL food.

We had a garage sale this weekend. We're moving back to Utah. We sold literally EVERYTHING. There was this picture of Jesus and the children that a little girl was looking at when Sawyer went up and stood next to her.
Sawyer: That's Jesus.
Girl: I know.
Sawyer: He's SUPER dead.
Then he just walked off.

Wyatt is 2...

...AND VERY MUCH TERRIBLE...

Don't let the cuteness fool you. He is HORRIBLE! I want to lock him in his room most of EVERYDAY. But when I'm just about to snap he does something really sweat. Like give me a kiss and say "wuv you mom".

He's so shy in public but a terror at home. So people just assume he's an angel....I just laugh. He loves to play make believe with Sawyer and they're always talking about bodily functions....where does that come from!? Boys must just come that way. It is pretty funny though.

And very much a boy. Obsessed with anything big, loud and with wheels.

Thank you Jane for all the goodies. Or as Sawyer said "Thanks Grandma for all the AWESOME toys!!" We love you guys TONS!!

They love super heroes...Sawyer mainly, but Wyatt is beggining to really get into it too. I caught them with their capes on jumping off one of our bedside tables with arms outstretched like superman. Luckily they put pillows down...this time. 

Oh Wyatt. I can't believe you are 2. And I curse you with 5 little boys JUST LIKE YOU!!!

FOURTH OF JULY!!!

We had lots of fun this fourth. One of the reasons being that Leah and her family came for a visit on their way back to Chicago...pictures on post after this one....

I don't have to many pictures of the actual 4th of July. I was to busy comforting Wyatt who HATED the loud noises...or making sure Sawyer didn't blow off a finger helping Jim light everything.

This is, I think, like the only picture of him not looking totally terrified. He's just checking out all the new teeth that have FINALLY come in.

This boy. He's so like Jim. He LOVED lighting things on fire and blowing things up. Great.

By the way. You like his shirt? Yeah. I made that. Took me WAY to long cutting out that tiny little USA and then sewing it on.

We found this little car in the garbage pile at someones house....sweet...just too bad it's not a two seater. They fight ALL THE TIME over it. I'm really thinking the reason it was in the garbage pile was because the poor mom couldn't stand all the yelling anymore...

My favorite though...Wyatt holding on for dear life on the roof of it while Sawyer drives as fast as he can trying to shake him off.

More 4th of July...

So this was like, THE BEST 4th of July....EVER!  Why?

Because the Allred family came into town.

Leah and I have known each other for 20 plus years....long time right?

So how fun is it that our kids are now playing together?! Sawyer is STILL upset that little Jane is gone. He asks for her everyday. I've already planned their wedding...

These two...they had ENTIRELY too much fun blowing stuff up.

Oh Leah....I love you. I wish we were neighbors. 

Wyatt did NOT like the loud noises. This was pretty much what his expression looked like the whole day. Not always with the ice-cream...

These cuties had so much fun together. 

The day before they got here there was a good storm. Jim took the boys out in it and threw firecrackers in the puddles. Sawyer thought that was "awesome!".

Leah and I have had A LOT of adventures together....here is just one more to add to our list...

we had just put all the kids to bed and we went outside to watch our husbands blow more stuff up. Well, when we came back inside I saw something flying around in our house! I thought it was a bird at first but quickly saw that is was in fact a BAT! So....what do Leah and I do?? We scream and hide under a blanket together while our husbands chase it around the house.....

Oh. And what do they do with the poor thing once it's caught? They put it in a bucket with a handful of firecrackers.....yeah....I can't feel TOO bad for the thing. I mean, look at this sucker...
